It's called vintage motoitce.... I'm not sure what the cure is but it's not a cowbell. This is a 1977 kz1000. It is the fastest production motorcycle in the word, at least it was ten years before I was born.

Ready? Cody and I rode down to Long Beach for the show this past June. Barring some major problem with the bikes, we will be doing the same this year. Cody rides to Sacramento from Truckee and we take off to Born Free 3 from there. it's about 800 miles or so round trip but including visiting friends and/or family and detours, it ends up being about 1100 miles. We know there are plenty of bikes riding down there because we saw them this past June. So let's meet up and ride down together. It would be rad to have the group growing as we get closer to the show....

wtf

what the hell is wrong with these "real bikers" who claim that only HD's are cool or that jap shit is crap?! I mean, i get the whole reasoning behind it but i don't like the fact that these fuckin guys try to demean anyone who doesn't buy American or try to make it seem like they don't buy only American because they don't know better (or know the potential outcomes). How about this? Some of us are poor and lack the self-discipline to save 3300 fuckin dollars to buy a starter Harley. There's nothing wrong with that...and aren't the parts for Harleys made in foreign countries and then just assembled here? Correct me if i'm wrong...

How about just live and let live? love riding your damn bike no matter what it is! when i can afford a better bike...i will get one...if i keep hearing the same shit spewed from HD lovers mouths, it's probably not going to be an  HD because i'm growing resentful more and more everyday...then again, an old flathead would be pretty fuckin cool...

Honda Chopper Seat

So this was a huge pain in the ass. But thank god for the local upholstery shop (Mom and Dad)... It looks good.

working away...

cody fabbed up some 10 3/4 rigid shocks (actually struts). We got the idea from the some dude on the internet. Removed the springs, drilled a hole to drain the fluid, steel-wooled them and cleaned with carb cleaner. then we welded the rod to body of the shock. painted the springs black and put them back on by welding it to the outside of the shock. The honda chopper is changing a little too. Cody is making a different seat so the lady can ride too. He shaped the metal himself and bought the padding (yoga mats that are the exact same thing as motorcycle seat padding but way cheaper!). Stitching for leather by Ma Brouwers. he also added some chimp bars.
